Postclassical string quartet Ethel has joined forces with the glorious spazmitude of Gutbucket to create a challenging new sound for the adventurous listener. Together for the first time in history, these two genre bending groups met in Studio A with engineer Randy Crafton to record what can only be described as… something awesome. Stay tuned as this story unfolds.

Accomplished guitarist and NYU student Isaac Chatfield has teamed up with producer/drummer Kirk Driscoll, and engineer Sal Mormando to record two separate albums featuring two different sides of this young musicians repertoire. One album will showcase Chatfield’s chops on jazz guitar playing with musicians Ron Jackson (guitar) and Gaku Tankanashi (acoustic bass). The second album will feature Chatfield’s electric side; with furious shredding and rock-fusion licks backed by Adam Klipple (B3/keys) and Norbert Marius (electric bass). Both albums feature Kirk Driscoll on drums.
